It was billed as a staff against staff volleyball game, but the big winner was the Ephrata community. On Thursday night, March 23, employees of Ephrata Middle School and Parkway Intermediate School suited up to compete for the bragging rights that come with a school victory.
Congratulations to the Grant Elementary Math Team! On Friday, March 17, our third and fourth grade mathaletes headed to Wenatchee to a regional math competition at Foothills Middle School. This is the first time we've competed since COVID restrictions were in place. In total, Grant Elementary had 13 students participating. We brought home 4th and 12th place in our divisions. Out of 126 individual competitors, all of our mathaletes placed 69th or higher! Fourth grader, Caden Johnson, placed 8th in his division! Great job to all!
If your student has been absent, you may receive a text, email or app message from their school. All Ephrata schools are now sending Remind messages when a student has been marked absent and the school has not yet received notification from a parent / guardian. If a response is not received, schools may follow-up with automated or personal phone calls.
It takes the hard work of many to run school smoothly each day. Ephrata's excellence comes from its bus drivers, food service workers, custodians, IT professionals, secretaries, paraprofessionals and so many more. Thank you to those that support kids and learning. We owe a debt of gratitude to you.
The Ephrata School District is extremely thankful to the Frontline Impact Project and Lysol US for their remarkable donation of 30,000 packages of Lysol Wipes to our district! As we maneuver through the cold and flu season, these wipes will play an important role in safeguarding students from germs in school. This act of generosity also eliminates our need for wipes on our school supply lists for the upcoming school year!
