Award winners were recognized for being proud of themselves, taking time to relax, taking care of themselves, trying things on their own, smiling a lot, staying positive, trusting their judgement, appreciating their talents, getting to know themselves and believing in themselves. There were lots of smiles and winners at Grant Elementary School's annual talent show and silent auction last Tuesday night. Fifteen acts performed that evening in front of an audience of parents, friends and teachers.

Award winners were recognized for their ability to say nice things to others, draw and paint, embrace their curiosity, experiment, explore nature, using their imagination, not compare themselves to others, be a leaders, engage in new things and use a journal.
