Children and police officers play with balls in a school gym

Grant Elementary scholars played hard during our Tiger Party on Monday! This quarterly celebration recognizes students who consistently demonstrate our three school standards: Show Respect, Make Good  Choices and Solve Problems. When they do these three things they are “okay” and in their “upstairs brain.”

Students chose from three activities: a "snowball fight" with our local Police and Sheriff's departments, art with Mrs. Stump or games and a movie with Mrs. Sligar. All participants also received a treat and chocolate milk! There are two more opportunities to earn Tiger Parties, one at the end of each quarter. Word on the street is that one of these may involve some water fun!

Special thanks to the Ephrata Police Department and Grant County Sheriff's Office for joining in the festivities! We appreciate you.
